A Nottingham man has been jailed for five years after police found cocaine, cash and a weapon at his home.
Michael Karim, aged 40, of St Peter’s Gate in Nottingham city centre, was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday 20 March.
Officers executed a warrant at his Wollaton address on 11 December last year while he was out on licence for a separate drug dealing conspiracy.
Karim was in bed when officers entered the property. During a search, police found bulk quantities of cocaine in a bedside cabinet within his reach, along with additional deal bags of the drug.
A serrated hunting knife, several thousand pounds in cash and multiple mobile phones were also recovered from the same area.

Karim was arrested and recalled to prison. He was later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possessing an offensive weapon in a private place, and possessing criminal property in relation to the cash.
He admitted all offences and was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing.
Detective Constable Malachi Keane, of Nottinghamshire Police, said Karim had continued to supply drugs while on licence.
