Election Newark: Conservatives hold as Robert Jenrick wins

The results of the Newark constituency have been announced. Robert Jenrick has won the seat in Newark receiving 20,968 votes.

The total number of ballot papers received was 53,657 which represents a turnout of 67.25%.  The total number of rejected ballot papers was 198.

Matthew Darrington (English Democrats – “Protect Our Borders”): 156

Robert Jenrick (Conservative Party): 20,968

Robert Palmer (Reform UK): 8,280

Collan Siddique (Workers Part of Britain): 150

David Watts (Liberal Democrats): 3,026

For the Newark constituency, the total number of ballot papers received by post was 14,377 which represents a turnout of 84.06%. The total number of ballot papers received at polling stations was 39,280 which represents a turnout of 62.67%.
