Two fire crews and several police vehicles and officers are at the scene of an incident in Nottingham city centre.
The incident was reported earlier this morning Sunday 28 September.
A fire broke out at a chicken takeaway on Angel Row in Nottingham city centre.

Smoke spread to apartments above the building which were evacuated.

There was also smoke damage at the game store next to the chicken shop.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
A police cordon is in place across Hurts Yard and emergency vehicles are blocking Angel Row just off Old Market Square.
Fire crews are inside the apartments carrying out safety checks with the incident under control.
