Firefighters gift teddy bear to little boy accidentally locked in a car in East Leake

Firefighters attended the incident to realse Aubrey, 2, who had been locked in the vehicle accidentally.

Firefighters from East Leake fire station said:

‘Following an accidental locking of the car. 2-year-old Aubrey was trapped in the vehicle with the keys on the inside.

‘Due to a very upset mum and child a rapid unlocking was required.

‘The crew broke the window to the passenger side to gain entry.

‘Once Aubrey was out in mum’s arms he was gifted with a little bear which he has named Alex after one of the crew.’
