Birds Bakery is welcoming customers back to its West Bridgford store on Central Avenue following a refurbishment.
Reopening on Friday 11 July, the store has been transformed with Birds’ updated branding, featuring a new interior colour scheme of spring green, warm grey, and doughnut pink.

The revamp also includes indoor and outdoor seating, giving customers a welcoming space to relax and enjoy their favourite bakes – whether that’s at the bespoke concrete table outside in Birds’ signature spring green terrazzo style, or inside on one of the 28 seats available, which include a mix of sofas, stools, and high chairs.

Inside – daisy-shaped lights add a playful finishing touch, a testament to Birds’ ‘fresh as a daisy’ promise.
The refurbishment forms part of Birds’ ongoing investment in its stores across the East Midlands, ensuring its heritage is matched by a modern and comfortable experience for customers old and new.

The updated store will serve new lunch options, including the Chicken Mayo and Bacon Sandwich on Chia Bread and All Day Breakfast Filled Roll.
Iced coffee is also now available.

Jamie Bird, joint managing director at Birds Bakery, said:
“We’re really pleased to be reopening our Central Avenue store with a fresh new look and feel. This location sits at the heart of a brilliantly vibrant high street, and it’s long been one of our most popular with customers.
“We’ve thoughtfully redesigned the space to reflect the energy and community spirit of the area. It’s important to us that we continue investing in our existing stores while expanding into new ones, and we can’t wait to welcome customers back to see the changes for themselves.”
