Heatwave: Nottinghamshire weather forecast for Thursday 19 June

Wall-to-wall sunshine, no rain, and highs of 25°C.

The weather forecast for Thursday 19 June in Nottinghamshire.

Early Morning (06:00 – 09:00)
A clear and sunny start to Thursday is on the cards, with golden skies and no chance of rain. Temperatures will rise quickly from 15°C at 06:00 to 20°C by 09:00. Winds will be light, coming from the northeast at 3–4 mph, and humidity will steadily decrease from 83% to 64%. Visibility remains good, with improving air quality and low pollution levels.

Midday (10:00 – 13:00)
The heat begins to intensify by late morning, with uninterrupted sunshine and rising temperatures – reaching 25°C by 13:00. Winds from the east-northeast stay light at 4–5 mph, offering little relief from the warmth. Humidity drops to a comfortable 40–51%, and UV levels climb significantly to 7, so sun protection is essential if you’re outdoors.

Afternoon (14:00 – 17:00)
Thursday afternoon brings the peak of the heat. Expect highs of 28–29°C under blazing sunshine, with very little cloud cover and a minimal rain risk (<5%). Humidity holds steady at around 37–39%, keeping it hot but not overly muggy. Winds stay light and easterly at 4–7 mph. UV levels remain very high, and sun exposure should be limited during peak hours.

Evening (18:00 – 23:00)
It will stay warm well into the evening, with temperatures only gradually falling from 29°C at 18:00 to 21°C by 23:00. Clear skies will persist with very light easterly winds shifting slightly southeast by late evening. Humidity will start to rise, reaching 62% by 23:00, but conditions will remain dry and visibility will be very good.
