Police are working with the Fire Service following a gas leak on Northern Road in Newark.
Nottinghamshire Police said at 1:42 pm Thursday 16 Feburary:
‘Officers have evacuated up to 30 homes on Stanley Street and a number of local businesses will remain closed.’
‘Police are asking people to avoid the area.’
