Image released after 19-year-old woman left unconscious in Trinity Square Nottingham assault

Police investigating a nasty assault that left a young woman unconscious have released an image of a man they would like to speak with.

The victim, aged 19, was assaulted near the Trinity Square area in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday, 30 March) while on a night out in Nottingham.

She was taken to hospital where tests found she had a small bleed on the brain. Her condition is thankfully not thought to be life-altering or life-threatening.

Detective Sergeant Simon Carter, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This was a nasty assault during which the victim was reportedly punched several times, causing her to fall and hit her head.

“As part of our investigation, we are looking to trace the individual in the image we are releasing today.

“If you know them, please get in touch with police. I’d also appeal to the person responsible for this attack to do the right thing and come forward.”
