Police have released CCTV images of two people they would like to trace after three women were assaulted on a night out in Nottingham city centre.
Officers were alerted to the incident by security staff in Clumber Street near to the British Heart Foundation store at around 3.30am on Thursday 17 August.
Three women enjoying a night out in the city said they were approached by an unknown man and woman. One of the women was grabbed and pushed to the floor.
The victim’s mobile phone was thrown causing it to smash. There were no serious injuries, but all three victims were left shaken by the ordeal.
Officers have followed a number of lines of inquiry including extensive CCTV inquiries but so far no one has been caught.
They are now releasing CCTV images of two people that could help with their investigation.
PC Ben King, who is investigating the incident, said:
“The three women were enjoying a night out in Nottingham when this completely unacceptable incident took place.
“Luckily no serious injuries were sustained. However, we take these reports extremely seriously and are determined to catch the people responsible.
“We have released some CCTV images of two people that could help us with our inquiries. I would ask anyone who thinks they may know who they are or if you are the people in the pictures to please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
