Djanogly City Academy A-Level results 2026

Djanogly City Academy Sixth Form students are looking forward to their next steps at university or in further education and training after achieving positive A Level grades.

This year’s results for Djanogly City Academy Sixth Form students include some notable successes. The proportion of top grades achieved has been maintained this year, with an upward trend in many subjects.

Andy Smith, Principal, Djanogly City Academy, said: “We set high expectations, inspire ambition and create a transformative environment where our students are empowered to thrive and achieve. This year’s results reflect the commitment and determination of our students and staff.”

Djanogly City Academy Sixth Form, which is graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, is part of Tapestry Learning Partnership. Based on Sherwood Rise, the sixth form offers 27 A Level subjects.

Students have received offers from universities including Durham University, the University of Warwick and the University of Nottingham.

Elliot Beal, aged 18, has earned top grades in four A Levels – further mathematics, physics, mathematics and computer science.

Elliot, who has achieved three A* grades in further mathematics, physics and mathematics and an A grade in computer science, said: “I feel ecstatic.”

Elliot also said that he has benefited from the quiet library spaces and small study focus groups that have supported his learning.

Elliot is moving on to the University of Warwick to study mathematics, with a long-term ambition to work in mathematical science research.

Rohail Khan, aged 18, has also achieved a top set of grades in his A Level subjects. Rohail has secured an A* in economics and A grades in biology and chemistry.

Rohail said: “I feel great. I would like to say thanks to all the teachers at Djanogly City Academy Sixth Form who helped.”

Rohail is going on to study dentistry at the University of Dundee and aims to progress to a career in the dental profession in the future.

A Level subjects offered include art, craft and design, biology, business studies, chemistry, computer science, criminology, drama, economics, English language, English literature, further maths, geography, history, maths, music, philosophy and ethics, physics, product design, psychology and sociology.

Students also develop their communication and employability skills through cultural trips, guest speakers, masterclasses and societies.
