Image released after woman assaulted in Nottingham shop

Response officers investigating an assault at a betting shop are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man.

Police were alerted to reports of a man being aggressive to staff in the Betfred store, Radford Road, Nottingham on 19 May 2023, shortly before 7.55 pm.

One member of staff was left with a cut to her eye after a coin tray was pushed into her face.

Following CCTV inquiries investigating officers are now asking for help to identify a man, pictured, as they believe he could help them with their investigation.

PC Sarah Gooch, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We’re continuing to investigate what happened in the store, but we now need your help to identify the person in this image as we believe he could have information that could piece together exactly why the victim came to harm.
