Detectives investigating a Nottingham street robbery have released these CCTV images of two women they would like to speak to.
The victim, who had just withdrawn a large amount of cash from a bank, was targeted as she walked along Shakespeare Street in Nottingham city centre.
She was approached by two women who used distraction techniques while they cut her bag and stole cash at around 3 pm on 20 November 2023.
The offenders then fled in the direction of the Forest Recreation Ground.
Officers have been trawling through CCTV footage in the area as part of their investigation and can now release these images.
Detective Constable Natalia Montano, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We are determined to get justice for this victim who was understandably shaken and upset by what happened.
“Robberies like this can have an emotional impact on victims that goes far beyond physical harm.
“If you know either of these women, or have any other information which could help with our inquiries, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information should all police on 101, quoting incident number 512 of 20 November 2023, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
