Image shared after attempted phone theft on a Nottingham bus

Police investigating an attempted theft of a mobile phone on a bus want to speak to this man.

The victim was targeted on the number 77 bus at 6.20 pm on 11 March 2024 as it travelled along Canning Circus, Nottingham.

A man sat close to her on the lower deck of the bus and tried to grab the device before running off.

After studying CCTV footage of the incident, officers believe the offender may also have attempted to steal items from other passengers.
