Police investigating an assault in a Beeston pub have released an image of someone they’d like to talk to.
Officers were called to The Jesse Boot, in High Road, Beeston, following reports of violent disorder.
A woman was reportedly confronted and then repeatedly punched in the face by another woman inside the pub toilets.
The victim was left with injuries to her head following the attack, which happened around 12.15am on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Police are now looking to trace the woman pictured in this image as part of their inquiries.
PC Will Clarkson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a completely uncalled for attack on a woman who was just trying to enjoy her night.
“While the victim only suffered minor injuries, this incident has understandably left her shaken up.
“It really should go without saying, but this type of violent behaviour is completely unacceptable and won’t be tolerated.
“We are now in a position to release this image as part of our investigation and would ask that anyone who recognises the woman in it gets in touch.
“Our understanding is that this woman may have some important information that could assist us, so we’d also ask that she contacts us if she sees this appeal.
“Information can be left with the police by calling 101, quoting incident 187 of 20 April 2024, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
