Police officers remain at the scene of a fatal incident in The Meadows as investigations continue following the death of a man earlier today.
A cordon is currently in place around properties in Ryeland Gardens, where emergency services were called shortly after 5.30am on Saturday morning.

Officers, forensic investigators and uniformed police were seen carrying out enquiries throughout the day, with access to part of the residential street restricted while work continues.
Video and images taken at the scene show multiple police vehicles and crime scene tape in place, with officers maintaining a visible presence in the area.

Residents nearby reported being woken by emergency service activity in the early hours, and police patrols have remained in the neighbourhood as investigators continue door-to-door enquiries.
Nottinghamshire Police previously confirmed that a man died after suffering serious injuries at the address. A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit’s Major Crime Team are leading the investigation and have said they do not currently believe there is any wider risk to the public.
Police are expected to remain at the scene while forensic examinations and evidence gathering continue.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police.
@westbridgfordwirenews Detective Inspector Clare Gibson, of the Major Crime Team at the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU), said: “I can confirm a man died following an incident in The Meadows this morning and that someone has now been arrested on suspicion of murder. “Our investigation is still in its early stages, but we are treating the man’s death as suspicious. “We do not currently believe there to be any threat to the wider public. “We are working to understand exactly what happened inside this address, so there will be a significant police presence in the area while this takes place. “As our investigation continues, we ask that anyone who saw or heard anything they think could be significant please share this with us. “Any piece of information, however small or insignificant it might seem, could really help us establish the full facts of this tragic incident.” Emergency services were called to a property in Ryeland Gardens shortly after 5.30am today. #nottingham #CapCut ♬ original sound – West Bridgford Wire News
