The water supply issue in Huthwaite has now been resolved and the network is recharging, according to Severn Trent Water.
A spokesperson said:
‘We are now building up stores in our distribution reservoirs over the next twenty-four hours and would ask customers to be mindful of water usage whilst we do this.
‘As a precaution, any properties that were without supply at 3am were scheduled a bottled water delivery between 04:30-07:00hrs and so around 300 customers will have received or are scheduled to receive a bottled water delivery to their doorstep. As a further precaution a bottled water station has also been arranged to open at 07:00hrs at Tesco Express Huthwaite.

Kirkby-in-Ashfield
‘We’re aware that a small number of customers in Kirkby-in-Ashfield experienced issues to their water supply first thing this morning due to a booster issue. We’re really sorry to anyone who was affected, but the issue has been fixed with supplies back on for everyone.
‘Water Supply and low-pressure issues have now been resolved in the areas of Sutton in Ashfield, Kirkby in Ashfield and Mansfield. We are now building up stores in our distribution reservoirs over the next twenty-four hours and would ask customers to be mindful of water usage whilst we do this.
‘We have an isolated issue in Huthwaite where approximately 300 customers are either with low pressure or without supply. We are simultaneously working on a number of workstreams including injecting the network with over 20 tankers, reconfiguring the network and making engineering adaptations, all of which means we are confident that we will have everyone back on supply by breakfast.
‘We have made a proactive delivery of water to any potentially vulnerable customers during the night and therefore some customers may find bottled water on their doorsteps.
