6:20 am Wednesday 20 December – Nottinghamshire Police: The road has now fully reopened.
Police said:
‘The A52 Derby Road is currently closed inbound between Bramcote Island and Priory Island following a serious collision.

‘The road is expected to be closed for some time so motorists are asked to avoid the area and to find an alternative route.’
AA Roadwatch | 7:20 pm 19 December:
Road closed due to crash on A52 Derby Road inbound from A6007 Ilkeston Road (Bramcote Island) to A6464 Woodside Road (Priory Island). The road is closed following an incident first reported at around 19:20.
