Flood water on the carriageway has caused the closure of the A52 at Nottingham Knight.
National Highways | 7:00 pm
The A52 eastbound has reopened between the A60 Ruddington and A606 Wheatcroft near Nottingham following flooding in the area.
5:30 | The road remains closed with no significant updates from highways
National Highways | 4:27 pm
Recent heavy rainfall has strained local drainage systems, causing water to accumulate on the road. For safety and to facilitate efficient repairs, we have taken the decision to close this section of the A52.
Specialist teams are on-site and have access to high-powered pumps and drain-cleaning equipment to remove the standing water and restore proper drainage. Once the water is cleared, we will inspect the road surface for any damage and carry out necessary repairs. This process is critical to ensure the road is safe for reopening.
