Police are appealing for information after a man was injured during a fight in the street.
Emergency services were called to Promenade, St Ann’s, Nottingham, around 4pm on 13 February following reports a man had been stabbed during an altercation with another male.
His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening and he has received hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Al Prentice, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We treat any report of knives being wielded in the street with the utmost seriousness.
“Officers were quickly at the scene and have been busy analysing CCTV footage and carrying out door-to-door inquiries overnight.
“We understand incidents of this nature can cause concern within communities but we do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.
“We are currently working hard to understand exactly what happened in the moments before, during and after the incident.
“It took place in a busy part of the city and we believe there will be people who witnessed what happened. We would like to speak to them as a matter of urgency.
“Likewise, if you have any mobile phone, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which could help please get in touch with police.”
