‘Road closed due to crash investigation work on A6514 Valley Road both ways from A611 Hucknall Road to B682 Nottingham Road (Futurist traffic lights). Following a serious accident involving two cars overnight.’
Nottingham Travelwise said at 7 am Monday 29 September:
‘Valley Road closed between Hucknall Roundabout and Nottingham Road.
‘Emergency services are on scene.
‘Please use an alternative route at this time.’
Nottinghamshire Police: 11:10 pm Sunday 28 September:
‘We’ve closed Valley Road in Nottingham, between Hucknall Road and Nottingham Road, following a crash involving two cars shortly after 8pm.
‘A man was taken to hospital and the road will be shut for some time.
‘If you have information about this incident call 101 (incident 641).’
