Nottingham: City roads reopen buses back to normal

Roads in Nottingham have reopened after today’s tragic killings.

Nottingham City Transport said at 7:55 pm 13 June:

‘City Centre roads have re-opened and buses are returning to their normal stops.

‘A huge thank you to all our colleagues for their sterling efforts throughout a very difficult day.

‘Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the tragic events that occurred in our lovely city.’

Pink 28 and 30 continue to divert whilst part of Ilkeston Road is closed. Between Canning Circus and Jubilee Campus, buses are operating along Ilkeston Road, Lenton Boulevard, Derby Road, Triumph Road, Wollaton Road in both directions.

Bus services in the city centre had to be suspended from the early hours of this morning because of a murder investigation.
