Nottingham city stabbing: Police arrest two teenagers

Police investigating a stabbing outside a city-centre restaurant have made two arrests.

Officers were called to Milton Street, Nottingham, after a man in his 20s was stabbed outside a restaurant at around 5pm.

He was taken by ambulance to Queen’s Medical Centre where he remains in a stable condition.

An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested overnight on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

They remain in police custody.

Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I am pleased that we have now made two arrests but this is a live investigation and we are still working to establish exactly what happened in this incident.

“We would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have taken mobile phone footage of what happened.”
