If you have a child starting Year 7 in 2023 then Nottingham High School invites you to join a Taster day on Wednesday 29th June – a fun-packed day for your child to experience life at Nottingham High School, taking part in lessons, playing sports and meeting other potential pupils.
Based on Waverley Mount, next to the Arboretum, Nottingham High School has a rich history spanning over 500 years. Previously an all-boys school, Nottingham High welcomed its first girls in 2015 to become co-educational.
A Junior School was established in 1905, an Infant School in September 2008 and there is also a vibrant Sixth Form.
The High School is a school of national reputation, Headmaster Kevin Fear has been at the helm since 2007.
He said:
“By championing the individual and encouraging intellectual curiosity, we ensure that all pupils not only achieve outstanding examination results but leave the School as well-rounded, confident young people, ready to play their part in tomorrow’s society.
“I very much hope that I will have the pleasure of welcoming your child to one of our Taster days”
