Drivers are being advised to plan ahead as a series of roadworks, closures, temporary traffic lights and parking restrictions affect routes across Nottingham.
The works include long-running restrictions on Woodside Road, Lindfield Road, Nuthall Road and Derby Road, as well as a number of shorter closures for utility, highways, tram and resurfacing works during May.
A parking restriction remains in place on Woodside Road, between Derby Road and University Boulevard, for National Highways works until Sunday 31 May.
Lindfield Road is also closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road for Severn Trent works until Friday 21 August, while a lane closure remains in place on Nuthall Road, between Western Boulevard and Melbourne Road, for footway works until Friday 17 July.
On Derby Road, a lane closure is in place for resurfacing works until Saturday 6 June.
Green Lane is affected by two-way traffic lights from the junctions of Farnborough Road to Clifton Lane for Cadent Gas works until Monday 18 May.
Hungerhill Road is closed between Linden Street and Woodborough Road from Saturday 9 May to Sunday 10 May for Severn Trent works.
On Monday 11 May, three-way traffic lights will be in place on Gregory Street between Rathmines Close and Saxon Green for tree maintenance works.
There will also be a road closure at the junction of Craven Road and Randall Street on Monday 11 May while a manhole cover is replaced.
Four-way signals will be in place on Birchover Road from Monday 11 May to Tuesday 12 May for Severn Trent works, with separate four-way signals also planned on Nobel Road during the same period.
Lane closures will be in place between Bobbers Mill Bridge and Alfreton Road from Monday 11 May to Thursday 14 May for resurfacing.
Multi-way traffic lights will be used on Harwill Crescent, from the junction of Tiverton Close to Watford Road, from Monday 11 May to Wednesday 20 May for Severn Trent works.
Emergency repairs to a sink hole on Thorneywood Mount, between Wheatfields Road and Thorney Hill, are due to continue until Tuesday 12 May.
Mapperley Hall Drive will be closed from Tuesday 12 May to Friday 15 May for National Grid works.
Further disruption is expected later in the month. Peel Street will be closed on Sunday 17 May for repairs to a telecom mast, while four-way lights will be in place on Redfield Road on the same day for Severn Trent works.
St Albans Road will be closed 20 metres either side of the level crossing from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May for Network Rail’s annual testing.
Road closures and no-stopping restrictions will also be in place on Melbourne Road, Robins Wood Road and Aspley Lane from Monday 18 May to Sunday 31 May for carriageway resurfacing works.
A taxi bay suspension will be in place on Upper Parliament Street from Wednesday 20 May to Friday 22 May while a bus shelter is removed and replaced.
Goose Gate will be closed from Thursday 21 May to Saturday 23 May for Severn Trent works.
From Monday 25 May to Thursday 28 May, Arleston Drive will be affected by a road closure and parking suspensions for highways works.
Road closures and parking suspensions will also be in place on Hungerton Street and Sherwin Road from Monday 25 May to Friday 29 May for manhole inspections and cleaning.
Goldsmith Street will be closed between Shakespeare Street and Talbot Street from Monday 25 May to Friday 29 May for tram repair works.
Park Road will be closed on Tuesday 26 May for repairs to a telecom mast, while a lane closure will be in place on Western Boulevard from Tuesday 26 May to Wednesday 27 May to replace a defective manhole cover.
Robins Wood Road will also be closed on Wednesday 27 May for Severn Trent works.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for journeys, follow signed diversion routes where they are in place, and check traffic updates before travelling.
