The most significant disruption today is planned: there is a full daytime closure of the A609/A6007 through Trowell and Stapleford, continuing restrictions at A52 Wheatcroft, and a final day of works at Pye Hill Road, Jacksdale.
Roads and motorways
No major new incident has been identified on Nottinghamshire’s principal strategic roads at the time of the 6 am check.
Drivers on the A52 through West Bridgford should continue to allow additional time around Wheatcroft. National Highways has weekday lane restrictions and a 40mph limit in place while utilities are diverted ahead of reconstruction of Wheatcroft junction. The utility phase is expected to last around three months.

Trowell and Stapleford – major closure today
One of today’s most significant local road closures begins at 07:00.
The A609 Ilkeston Road and Nottingham Road at Trowell, together with the A6007 Trowell Road/Stapleford Road corridor, are scheduled to close until 19:00 today for surface dressing.
The closure affects the A609 through Trowell and the A6007 between Trowell and Stapleford, with a signed diversion in operation. Today’s closure is the final scheduled day of the current programme.

Rail
No major Nottinghamshire-wide rail incident has been identified in the early check.
There is, however, a final day of engineering alterations affecting East Midlands Railway services between Nottingham and London St Pancras.
The 21:42 Nottingham to London St Pancras is amended tonight because of overnight engineering work between London St Pancras and Kettering and between Leicester and Nottingham. It will run earlier than normal from Luton Airport Parkway and arrive at St Pancras at 23:45.
This is the final scheduled day of that particular Monday-to-Friday engineering programme.
Passengers should also be aware that further engineering work affects the Nottingham area on Sunday morning, when several EMR services between Nottingham, Derby and Matlock will be replaced by buses.

There is further disruption at Pye Hill Road in Jacksdale today.
trentbarton says the road is closed from 07:30 until 19:00 today, affecting rainbow one and the 90.
A series of stops around Jacksdale and Westwood are affected, including Providence Road, King William Street, Riddings Wood, Bullock Lane, Saxelby Close, George Street and Doctors Corner.
Today is the scheduled final day of this particular programme.
East Bridgford – Rushcliffe Villager changes
The major works at Kirk Hill, East Bridgford continue to affect local bus services.
Kirk Hill and East Bridgford Road are closed for around 12 months as part of the A614/A6097 improvement programme. The closure has forced changes to trentbarton’s Rushcliffe Villager, with Shelford and Gunthorpe no longer served directly by that route.
Additional Nottsbus 747 journeys have been introduced, and Nottinghamshire County Council says passengers from Shelford and Gunthorpe connecting with Rushcliffe Villager can use the 747 for free.
Beeston Road – overnight closure continues
The long-running overnight closure of Beeston Road continues tonight.
The road closes in both directions between 20:00 and 06:00 each night until Thursday 17 September, affecting trentbarton indigo and skylink Nottingham.
Stops around QMC, University East Entrance, Dunkirk, Lace Street, University South Entrance and the Tennis Centre are among those missed during the closure.
Arnold – final nights
Overnight works on Front Street in Arnold continue through this weekend.
Nottingham City Transport service updates lists the closure as running from 7 to 13 September, affecting services 25, 53, 56, 58, 79 and 87.
Mansfield
Overnight closures of Stockwell Gate and Belvedere Street in Mansfield also continue.
The restrictions run overnight until Sunday 13 September, affecting trentbarton’s nines and threes, with stops including Mansfield ASDA, Mansfield Community Hospital, Botany Avenue, Moor Lane, Frank Avenue and Hermitage Lane missed during the works.
Maid Marian Way – Broad Marsh
Traffic management remains in place around Maid Marian Way for demolition of the former Broad Marsh NCP car park and Nottingham College building.
There are lane restrictions and temporary traffic lights, although NCT currently expects buses to remain on their normal routes.
The restrictions are expected to continue until the end of November and delays are likely, particularly during busy periods.
Other continuing works
Roadworks on Middleton Boulevard mean the Jubilee Campus stop towards Arnold is closed for NCT 53, 54 and 55, while works on Electric Avenue affect the city-bound stop near the retail park for 48, 48A, 49 and 49A.
Long-term construction also continues at Lowdham Roundabout and Kirk Hill/East Bridgford as part of the A614/A6097 improvement programme.
Starting Monday – A60 Mansfield Road
Drivers and bus passengers should also be aware of a significant new Nottingham scheme beginning Monday 14 September.
The inbound A60 Mansfield Road between Goose Fair Island and Mapperley Road/Forest Road East will close overnight between 20:00 and 06:00 until Friday 25 September, excluding the nights of 19 and 20 September.
Inbound traffic will be diverted via Gregory Boulevard, Alfreton Road and Nottingham city centre, and inbound buses will also divert. Outbound traffic remains open but will be subject to lane restrictions.
