Early morning
The day will begin with mist and low cloud in places, but dry conditions are expected. Temperatures will be around 1°C, with some areas close to freezing. Rain chances remain below five per cent. Winds will be light from the east at around 6 to 7 mph, giving a chilly start to the day.
Midday
Through late morning and into midday, cloud will remain widespread with little change in conditions. Temperatures will rise slowly to around 4°C to 5°C. The risk of rain will remain negligible. Winds will strengthen slightly from the east-south-east at around 8 to 10 mph.
Afternoon
The afternoon will stay dry and largely overcast, with temperatures peaking at around 5°C. Winds will be moderate from the east-south-east at around 10 to 11 mph, with gusts near 21 mph in exposed areas. Despite the cloud, conditions will remain settled.
Evening
During the evening, skies will stay mostly cloudy with dry weather continuing. Temperatures will gradually fall from around 4°C to 3°C, with values close to or below freezing later in the night. Winds will ease slightly but remain easterly, bringing a cold and calm end to the day.
