Nottinghamshire weather for Tuesday 14 July

Tuesday 14 July is forecast to be dry, bright and warm, with cloudier spells early and late in the day.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 27C during the afternoon, with the chance of rain staying below 5% throughout.

Early morning

Tuesday will begin mostly cloudy but dry, with temperatures around 15C at 6am, rising to 16C by 7am and remaining around 16C at 8am.

Winds will come from the north-north-east at around 7mph to 9mph, with gusts between 23mph and 25mph. Visibility will be good in places early on, improving to very good at times.

Humidity will be high during the early morning, around 85% at 6am and 7am, easing slightly to 84% by 8am. Rain is not expected, with the chance of precipitation below 5%.

Midday

Conditions will become brighter through the late morning and into lunchtime, with sunny spells developing after a cloudier start.

Temperatures are forecast to rise from 19C at 10am to 21C by 11am and 23C by midday. The “feels like” temperature will be slightly lower, around 18C to 22C.

Winds will remain from the north-north-east or north-east at around 9mph, with gusts increasing to around 27mph to 29mph. Visibility will be very good.

Humidity will fall steadily, reaching around 58% by midday. UV levels will become high, reaching 6 by 11am and 7 at midday, so sun protection is advisable for anyone spending time outdoors.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to be warm, dry and mostly sunny. Temperatures are forecast to reach 25C by 1pm, 26C by 2pm and 3pm, and around 27C by 4pm.

The “feels like” temperature will be around 24C to 25C for much of the afternoon. Winds will come mainly from the north-east or east-north-east at around 9mph, with gusts around 29mph.

Visibility will remain very good, while humidity will fall to around 40% by late afternoon. UV levels will remain high during the early afternoon, around 6 to 7, before easing later.

Evening

The evening will stay dry, with sunshine continuing into the early evening before clearer and then cloudier spells develop later.

Temperatures are expected to fall from around 26C at 5pm and 6pm to 25C by 7pm and 23C by 8pm. It will turn cooler later, dropping to 21C by 9pm, 20C by 10pm and 18C by 11pm.

Winds will remain from the east-north-east or north-east at around 8mph to 10mph, with gusts easing from around 29mph early in the evening to around 20mph by 11pm.

Visibility will remain very good. Humidity will rise through the evening, from around 40% at 5pm to 82% by 11pm. The chance of rain stays below 5% throughout.
