Temperatures will only reach around 14°C, with a brief spell of higher UV around early afternoon if brighter breaks develop.

Early morning

The day will start cool and mostly cloudy, with temperatures around 9°C at 5am and 6am, rising to 10°C by 7am and 11°C by 8am. The chance of rain is around 10% at 5am, then 30% from 6am to 8am.

Winds will come from the west-south-west at around 7 to 8 mph, with gusts between 14 and 18 mph. UV levels will remain low, starting at 1 and rising to 2 by 8am.

Midday

Late morning and lunchtime will turn more unsettled, with showers becoming increasingly likely. Temperatures will rise from 12°C at 9am to 13°C at 10am and 14°C by 11am and midday. The chance of rain is around 20% at 9am, 30% at 10am, 60% at 11am and 90% by midday.

Winds will come from the west to west-south-west at around 8 to 9 mph, with gusts increasing to about 25 mph by midday. UV levels will rise to 3 at 9am and 10am, then 4 at 11am, before easing to 3 by midday.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to be wet and cool, with showers or longer spells of rain likely. Temperatures will remain around 14°C throughout the afternoon. The chance of rain is greater than 95% at 1pm and 2pm, then around 90% at 3pm and 4pm.

Winds will be mainly westerly to west-north-westerly at around 9 to 10 mph, with gusts between 21 and 27 mph. UV levels may briefly reach 6 at 1pm if there are brighter breaks, before falling back to 3 or 4 through the mid-afternoon and 2 by 4pm.

Evening

The evening will remain showery at first, although the chance of rain should gradually reduce later. Temperatures will stay around 14°C from 5pm to 7pm, then fall to 13°C by 8pm and 9pm, 12°C at 10pm and 11°C by 11pm. The chance of rain is around 80% at 5pm and 6pm, 60% at 7pm, 30% at 8pm and 9pm, 20% at 10pm and below 5% by 11pm.

Winds will ease through the evening, mainly from the west to west-south-west at around 6 to 9 mph, with gusts falling from about 23 mph to 12 mph later. UV levels will be low in the evening, falling to 1 before fading after sunset.
