EARLY MORNING
Persistent rain from first thing with a high likelihood of showers or longer spells of rain throughout the morning commute. Temperatures around 7°C with brisk west to west-south-westerly winds of 10–12 mph. Gusts already reaching 25–30 mph.

MIDDAY
Rain continuing through late morning and into the afternoon, at times heavy. Temperatures only reaching around 9–11°C. Winds strengthening further from the west and west-north-west, with gusts widely reaching 30–35 mph.

AFTERNOON
Still unsettled with frequent showers and longer outbreaks of rain continuing through the afternoon. Temperatures holding near 11°C. Blustery north-westerly winds making it feel noticeably cooler.

EVENING
Conditions gradually improving later in the evening with rain easing to scattered showers and clearer spells developing overnight. Temperatures falling from around 10°C to near 7°C by late evening. Winds slowly easing but remaining breezy overnight.
