On Sunday 15 January, Sherwood Beat Team and Mansfield Off Road Bike Team spent the day patrolling Nottinghamshire villages.
The teams patrolled Ollerton, Boughton, Walesby, Bothamsall, Edwinstowe, Clipstone, Bilsthorpe, Rainworth and the Desert at Mansfield.
Operation Jericho is in force to monitor the ongoing issues that are caused by off-road bikes and quads.
Police say that off-road vehicles are causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to farmers’ land and crops as well as affecting wildlife.
They can also pose a danger to members of the public.
Two bikes were seized today by the off-road bike team as a result of the operation.
