According to figures released today, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System ( ICS ) was second to bottom of a table showing the percentage of the age group receiving doses of the vaccine by 17 January.
The information shown below uses data up to 17 January 2021.
Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS area vaccinated 43.2 % of its residents that are over-80 years old and just 0.1 % received a second dose.
However, Northamptonshire has vaccinated 78.2% first dose patients, and 22.4% second dose, and Gloucestershire vaccinated 85.3% of residents at first dose stage.
Only Suffolk and North East Essex fares worse at 36.6% first dose and 7.7% second dose.
Amanda Sullivan, Accountable Officer at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said:
“We have made significant progress with vaccinating the most at-risk people in our communities, and with the opening of further sites over the last week and in the near future, we will be able to make further progress.”
