Papa Johns confirmed that ten of its Nottinghamshire locations are temporarily closed, as part of a broader shuttering across the East Midlands.
Among these, all seven stores in Nottingham city and the wider area including West Bridgford are affected.
The store on Melton Road opened in 2013.

A company spokesperson stated:
“We can confirm that a number of Papa Johns stores in the East Midlands are currently temporarily closed. We are working to understand the situation and to support affected team members where possible. We’re grateful to all of our loyal customers and plan to reopen soon.”
The interior store appears to have been vandlised, it’s not know yet whether intruders accessed the premises. Ceiling tiles have been ripped out exposing the wiring, walls smashed, a soft drinks fridge smashed and accesses, furniture strewn across the floor.
Nottinghamshire Police has been contacted to see if there are any reports on this.
