ROK Coffee House opens its doors in West Bridgford this weekend, bringing together top-end design end materials a carefully selected menu, and a local team with a shared passion for quality.
Owner Russell O’Keeffe and family explained that from the very beginning, the vision was clear – to create a beautifully designed, welcoming space with outstanding coffee at its heart, and a great experience for the customer.
That vision found the perfect partner in 200 Degrees Coffee who supported the venture and whose coffee will be served!
Jacqueline Wan is the manager of the shop and runs a team of around 10 staff from the local area.
Russell said:
‘We couldn’t be more pleased that Jacqueline Wan has agreed to join and Lead the ROK Coffee House business.
‘Jacqueline’s husband Chun has worked for O’Keeffe’s for 12 Years and one day on site I mentioned the idea of potentially opening a Coffee House, Chun immediately said to me that I had to talk to his wife!
‘Within five minutes of talking to Jacqueline, I knew she was the right person for the job.
‘I have never met anyone so enthusiastic and passionate about coffee and cake!
‘Jacqueline’s enthusiasm and energy are infectious, she is very engaging and confident.
‘She has worked tirelessly since joining, and we have all worked very closely together to create this amazing Coffee House.
‘Jacqueline has now selected a team of both full and part-time staff who have all completely bought into the opportunity to be a part of something very special.’
The staff have all been hand-picked to represent the vision of the shop.
Step inside and you’ll notice the attention to detail everywhere – from the elegant interior finishes to the warm atmosphere.
The menu reflects the same commitment to quality, with expertly crafted coffees, teas from Bird and Blend, fresh juices, nutritional milkshakes, and smoothies created in partnership with local nutritionist Jo Meadows.
There’s also a fully licensed bar offering a selection of beers, wines, ciders, and cocktails.
And yes – dogs are more than welcome too.
The coffee house opens from 12 noon this Saturday 24 May for a first taste.
Expect complimentary samples (for humans and furry friends alike), great company, and a space that’s been designed to feel like a true home-from-home.
