A man has been charged following a sexual assault at Queen’s Medical Centre.
Officers were called to Queen’s Medical Centre on August 25 following reports that a patient had exposed himself to staff.
On arrival, officers were also told that the patient had also inappropriately touched a staff member.
Colin Worley, 58, of St Ann’s, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of exposure.
Worley appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 29 August and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 26 September.
PC Joseph Jacks, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We will always take any report of sexual assault, or violence against women and girls, extremely seriously.
“In this case, officers arrived within minutes of receiving the report and, within two days, secured an arrest, charge and court appearance.
“We would like to thank the victim for her bravery and reassure the public that we are here to listen. We will investigate every report we receive and do everything in our power to secure justice for victims.”
