Police consider ‘full range of options’ to tackle noise nuisance from anti-social drivers after reports across the area

Officers from Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing team patrolled the A453 and visited Radcliffe on Soar power station on Sunday evening in relation to anti-social driving.

Police say that while this area was relatively trouble free tonight there were reports in Clifton, Edwalton, Gedling and Saxondale of anti-social driving and a Road Traffic Collison related to the same group.

Nottinghamshire Police along with partners at the County Council and the District and Borough Councils are working towards a long term problem solving plan.

Having worked with other police services and the College of Policing to assess what has worked elsewhere in the country a full range of options are being considered for implementation in Nottinghamshire, said a spokesperson.
