Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a betting shop was robbed in Nottingham city centre.
Police were called to Ladbrokes, in Lower Parliament Street, just after 8am today, Saturday 27 June.
Staff at the shop were reportedly threatened with violence and forced to hand over cash.
Police said the robbery was carried out by two men, who left the scene with hundreds of pounds in cash.
Staff suffered minor injuries during the incident.
An investigation is under way and detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The victims were understandably left really shaken up by what happened to them.
“We’re now appealing to anyone who saw this happen, or thinks they might know who could be involved, to share this immediately, so that we can take action.
“We also want to hear from anyone who may have inadvertently captured dash-cam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage of this incident.”
