The neighbourhood team has responded to community concerns about drug dealing by raiding a home in Edwalton.
Officers from Rushcliffe North Neighbourhood Policing Team found cannabis and evidence of drug dealing when they executed a warrant at the address on Friday ( 7 June ).
Sergeant Che Sands, of the Rushcliffe North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We understand the problems drugs can cause within communities and the devastating damage they can do to people’s lives.
“That’s why our officers carry out regular operations, such as patrols and other engagement work, to try and gather the intelligence needed to target those involved in the supply of drugs.
“Thanks to the proactive efforts of our officers, on this occasion, we were able to seize quantities of drugs as well as gather important intelligence for future proactive operations.”
