The Rushcliffe operation is a week off action to tackle Fatal Four offences.
Police in Rushcliffe said:
‘PC Orynycz has been visiting licenced premises across Rushcliffe to discuss our Christmas drink and drug drive campaign Operation Insoluble.
‘Posters like these ( pictured ) will be found in most establishments across Rushcliffe warning customers of the dangers of driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs.
‘Rushcliffe South Officers are conducting a FATAL FOUR WEEK OF ACTION.
‘Officers will be leading a number of proactive operations to target those that put other road users at risk!
‘The fatal four are the most common causes of road accidents and yet, very easy to avoid. Stay within the speed limit, don’t use your mobile phone, always wear a seat belt and never drive if you plan to drink alcohol.’
