The road has been closed since 10 am this morning.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:
“Officers were called to Huntingdon Street, Nottingham city centre, at around 10 am today Saturday 4 March, following reports of a serious road collision.
“Road closures currently remain in place in King Edward Street to prevent traffic coming up Huntingdon Street.

“Inquiries are still ongoing into this incident, so we’d ask anyone who saw what happened or has any other information to call the police on 101, quoting incident 232 of 4 March 2023.”
