Heavy Rain has flooded the railway at Draycott affecting London St Pancras and Newark – Derby services.
East Midlands Railway said on Wednesday 13 December:
‘This is between Derby and Long Eaton and is disrupting our trains on the following routes:
London St Pancras/Nottingham/Sheffield
Matlock/Derby/Nottingham

‘Network Rail has equipment on site pumping the water away from the running lines, the water levels are being monitored and the line is expected to be closed until at least noon.’
