Rushcliffe rural police teams attend incidents and community events

Come rain or shine officers in Rushcliffe are continuing to respond to emergencies as well as attending public engagements where resourcing allows and carrying out patrols at identified hot spots.

Last Saturday the 12th of July officers attended Radcliffe on Trent carnival where they carried out bike marking with Bikeregister products alongside Rushcliffe Borough Council.

Response and Neighbourhood Policing officers from Rushcliffe also attended the unauthorised encampment on Bridgford Park West Bridgford on Monday 14th of July which followed a number of vehicles and caravans being evicted from the Trent Embankment in the City of Nottingham.

Having finished late that night and while driving back through West Bridgford three officers from the Rushcliffe South NPT based at Cotgrave found themselves just round the corner from an incident reported as a burglary in progress they responded immediately and were joined by Rushcliffe and Riverside response to discover it was a call made in good faith by a neighbour.
