Sale of village land to deliver new 60-home housing scheme

The sale of development land in Nottingham is set to pave the way for 60 new homes to further address local housing needs.

 

The site, located to the west of Coventry Lane in Bramcote, extends to approximately 17.2 acres – across two parcels of land – and has been purchased by one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, Keepmoat Homes.

The site at Hulks Farm forms part of the wider allocation identified within the Broxtowe Local Plan.

Sold on a subject to planning basis on behalf of private landowner clients by Savills, Keepmoat Homes obtained planning for 60 homes, 30 per cent of which  will be allocated as affordable housing.

 

The sale comprised two separate parcels of land, with the proposed development of 60 homes located to the south,  on approximately 4.5 acres. The remaining c.13 acres, to the north, will be used as part of Biodiversity Net Gain requirements imposed by the Council and is located in the Greenbelt.

 

Ann Taylor, director in the Savills Development team in Nottingham, says:
