A 49-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and fraud in connection with an incident in Sneinton.
This follows the arrest and charge of Chantay Finch, of no fixed address on Saturday 7 June 2020. She is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday 6 July 2020.
The arrest relates to an incident at St Stephens Road at 6.30pm on 27 May 2020 after reports that property was stolen from the house and a bank card was used on numerous occasions.
Detective Sergeant Nick Wood is leading the investigation. He said: “A woman has been arrested by officers this morning after the victim discovered that his bank card had been used after it went missing.”
“She remains in police custody.
“We would urge people to remain vigilant to fraudsters who are preying on the elderly and are distracting them so they are able to get hold of their bank details.
“We will pursue any such offenders and do everything in our power to bring them to justice.
