Six people were arrested after a crash on Queen’s Drive in Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire Policesaid they were called at 6 am on Thursday 1 January 2026 after a BMW car came to rest on its side in Queen’s Drive.
No serious injuries have been reported, the vehicle was trapped between the pedestrian barrier and wall.
The road was closed southbound while police investigate. The force added the six from the vehicle were detained on suspicion of drink-driving and taken to hospital for checks.
