Thousands of pounds worth of Class A drugs have been seized after officers carried out a car stop.
Knife crime team officers were patrolling in a marked vehicle on Thursday evening (15 January) in Sneinton.
As a car appeared to take a sharp turn onto Lord Nelson Street, officers followed the vehicle toward Thurgarton Street.
After the driver came to a stop, a search of the vehicle revealed envelopes suspected to contain cocaine and MDMA. Scales and three mobile phones were also seized.

Cannabis was later found during a search of a property on Thistledown Road, Clifton.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply the Class A drug cocaine, Class A drug MDMA, and the Class B drug cannabis.
Detective Sergeant Adam Rose, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“It is always good news when we can take suspected drugs out of circulation and destroy them.
“This was a great piece of work by the police team on patrol, with officers using their instincts to carry out a car stop.
“Stops like this are a police power we use on a daily basis to detect criminal activity and help keep communities safe.”
