11:14 – NCT – A full service is now operating on our single deck bus routes, following earlier issues with the fleet. Thanks for your patience and understanding this morning – we’ll be discussing what went wrong with the manufacturer and how to avoid a similar issue in the future.
09:30 – NCT – This issue is now largely resolved, with most buses now in service. There are some ongoing cancellations on the 3, 3A, 5, 7, 9 and 30 as the final few buses are fixed
At 8:48 am NCT said that buses are now largely running normally.
Nottingham City Transport said at 6:43 am on Thursday 20 February:
‘An overnight software update to our electric buses has failed, which is preventing them from entering service.
‘The vehicle manufacturer is working with us to resolve the issue, but there will be cancellations and delays on these services.
‘Sorry for the inconvenience caused.’
