Police are investigating a man’s sudden death in St Ann’s.
Detective Inspector Clare Gibson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were called to Moffatt Close in St Ann’s at 1.40am on Friday 8 March after a report of a sudden death.
“An investigation is currently underway after a man’s body was found in a residential car park. His death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“A scene remains in place while we continue our work to establish the circumstances.
“While our inquiries remain in their early stages, we are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please get in touch with us.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have any additional information which could aid us with our inquiries, including anyone who may have recorded CCTV or dashcam footage.
“Residents will continue to see an increased police presence in the area to provide reassurance while our inquiries continue and anyone with concerns following this incident can speak to officers at the scene.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place. Our thoughts are with this man’s family and we’d ask people not to speculate while we ascertain what has happened.
