St Giles Preschool in West Bridgford is a non-profit preschool in West Bridgford.
A spokesperson for the preschool said:
‘We are one of the longest-standing preschools in the area, serving families in West Bridgford for the last 50 years, and we want to reach many more milestones—but we can’t do that on our own.
‘There aren’t many settings like ours, we’re a charity that’s run by a voluntary committee on a non-profit basis, so we have to work on fairly tight budgets.
‘As you may be aware, the Early Years sector is in crisis.
‘Underfunding by the government has sadly led to a shocking 5000+ settings like ours closing down over the last 12 months. And we certainly don’t want to add to that statistic.
‘In a financially uncertain world, with current funding not covering costs, we need to urgently raise some significant money to build up our reserves which are at an all-time low.

‘Brennan was a former pupil at the preschool and his mother, Ali, worked for us for 18 years!
