The Saturday date for this event has been postponed by organisers because of the weather forecast.
Yuup and Celestial regret to announce that due to adverse weather, the performance of Celestial’s A Christmas Carol: The Drone Light Show on Saturday 7th December at Trent Bridge has been postponed.
The team has carefully reviewed the situation, and it has become necessary to make this difficult decision in the interest of safety.
Organisers, Yuup have said:
“We understand the disappointment this may cause and would like to sincerely apologise. We hope you understand that safety is our top priority.”
The show has been rescheduled for Monday 9 December 2024 and all ticket holders have been automatically transferred to the rescheduled show as per the booking terms and conditions.
As an alternative option, organisers are offering ticket holders to transfer their ticket to the performance on Sunday 8th December subject to availability.
The team continue to monitor the weather closely and are currently preparing to fly the performance on Sunday 8th December as planned.
The venue team at Trent Bridge have commented:
“While we’re naturally disappointed not to be able to host Saturday’s show on its original date, we’re pleased that Yuup have been able to make a proactive, early decision to postpone the event in light of the severity of the forecast – which has caused a number of other events in the region to be postponed,” said Trent Bridge’s Commercial Director Michael Temple.
“The safety of those who step inside our venue must always be of the utmost importance, and we look forward to seeing as many spectators as possible in the coming days as the weather improves.”
