Three people are facing charges after a man suffered stab wounds and broken bones during a serious assault.
The victim, aged in his 20s, collapsed after entering a shop at Esso Petrol Station in Nuthall Road, Whitemoor, Nottingham, on 2 April 2023.
He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre and was subsequently discharged.
A number of arrests were made over the following weeks as detectives worked to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
Salvadore Hall, aged 31, of HMP Nottingham, and Nathan Rochester, 31, of HMP Ranby, have been summonsed to court to face charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and false imprisonment.
They are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 4 August 2023.
Olivia Williams, aged 24, of Lindfield Road, Broxtowe Estate, Nottingham, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and false imprisonment.
She has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 8 August 2023.
A 34-year-old man was arrested during the early hours of Wednesday (26 July 2023) on suspicion of wounding with intent, false imprisonment, kidnap, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, and acquiring criminal property. He remains in custody.
Detective Sergeant James Hirst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a very serious assault, and I am pleased charges have been authorised against multiple suspects in this case. Our investigation will now continue.”
